GT90 Reproduction

Insanity Lab Racing is proud to announce that we have secured the exclusive rights to reproduce twenty-five GT90’s using 3D scan data of both the interior and exterior, down to the rims and tires.  Powered by a twin turbo V12 and leveraging a carbon fiber body, this reproduction will be faster than the original.

The first reproductions are scheduled to be delivered in second quarter of 2024, this limited production run will provided automotive connoisseurs an opportunity to own a Carbon90™.

What to Expect

The original Ford™ GT90 was very much a prototype car that was built in a short order of time. There is no doubt that if the GT90 originally went to market, certain refinements and creature comforts would be included — let alone the myriad of high-tech and performance oriented promises would be delivered upon. Fast forwarding nearly two decades, undoubtedly the GT90 still remains aesthetically modern but has a plethora of engineering improvements readily available that were simply far too advanced to achieve in 1995. While the mantra of “do no harm” might be grossly simplified, it is the diligence we tread on with this project — ensuring the GT90 maintains true to form aesthetically while concurrently introducing best-in-class materials and components to meticulously craft a reproduction worthy of the GT90.

Timelines

Production
The tooling of the body and chassis will take two parallel paths to maximize time effectiveness and allow the metal and fabrication teams to deliver on their respective key milestones.  Both the body and the chassis are dependent on the 3D scan data, however the chassis requires significantly less inputs to develop as compared to a class A surface finish that the body will be receiving. By these means, the chassis will develop more quickly and will enable our teams to move into suspension and powertrain development early in the product development lifecycle.

The first completed customer Carbon90™ is planned for delivery in second quarter of 2024 and we will continue to be delivered based on a first in, first out basis.

Payment terms
The Carbon90™ is currently offered at a first mover price of $400,000 USD before tax, licensing, delivery and any customer customizations. To reserve one of the first five reproductions available a non-refundable $100,000 down deposit is required via cashier’s check or bank transfer. The remaining balance will be required in two $150,000 payments, corresponding to the production phase.
